Virqual was a project in the form of a network that proposed to help educational and training institutions to achieve Virtual Mobility and to guarantee EQF implementation through e-learning, aiming at finding specific obstacles in institutions and proposing concrete and innovative solutions. Virqual intended to promote cooperation and joint work among partner organizations and to link with related initiatives. The outcomes of the VIRQUAL project, in particular the template for describing the Learning Outcomes, are very important to TALOE project.
The ALOA model was created in a PhD thesis “Alignment of Learning Outcomes and Assessment”, which uses the revised version of Bloom’s Taxonomy to establish the link between the LOs and general assessment methods. The TALOE project uses the same methodology but adapted to the specific context of e-learning and e-assessment.
